Laparoscopic removal of Fibroids- A special treatment technique offered you at Midwest Fertility Center

There are multiple treatments for Uterine Fibroids starting from just medications that will shrink the Fibroids, to Embolization of the Uterine vessels, to focused Ultrasound or surgical removal.
Unfortunately the only treatment at this stage that is associated with reestablishing Fertility and is proven to work with infertile patients is the surgical approach.

When the Fibroid is inside the Uterus, we would use a Hysteroscopic resection of that Fibroid. We will put a small telescope through the Vagina into the Uterus and remove this Fibroid.
When the Fibroid is outside of the Uterine cavity, our center has developed very advanced technique in removing Uterine Fibroids through a Laparoscope and even very large Fibroids can now be removed through the laparoscope in our center at the Midwest Fertility Center.
